Kaha Company for Preserved Food
Kaha Company for Preserved Foods is a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Food Industries at the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade. It is the first company established in Egypt in the field of canning. It was established in 1940 and started with one factory in the city of Kaha, Qalyubia Governorate, under the name (The Egyptian Factory for Food).
In 1961, the Tahrir Factory was annexed to the Kaha Company, which is located in the Badr Center in Al-Buhaira Governorate. It produces legumes and juices.
In February 1962, the company was re-established as an Egyptian joint stock company, after adding several factories to it and merging them into one company under the name and trademark (Al-Nasr Company for Preserved Foods “Kaha”).
In 1965, the Tabiya factory was annexed to the Kaha Company, which is located in Tabiya City, Alexandria Governorate (Rashid Line). It produces juices, jams, vegetables, and canned and frozen fruits. It is considered one of the largest production units affiliated with the company for the integration of its production lines, and it holds the ISO certificate (9001-2000).
