  • Qaha Preserved Foods Company is a subsidiary of the Holding Company for Food Industries in the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade. It is the first company established in Egypt in the field of canning. It was established in 1940 and began with one factory in the city of Qaha, Qalyubia Governorate, under the name (Egyptian Food Factory).
    In 1961, the Tahrir Factory was included in the Qaha Company, which is located in Badr Center in Beheira Governorate and produces legumes and juices.
    In February 1962, the company was re-established as an Egyptian joint stock company after adding several factories to it and merging them into one company under the name and brand (Al-Nasr Preserved Foods Company “Qaha”).
    In 1965, the Tabia factory was annexed to Qaha Company, which is located in the city of Tabia in Alexandria Governorate (Rashid Line). It produces juices, jams, vegetables, and canned and frozen fruits. It is considered one of the largest production units affiliated with the company to integrate its production lines and holds an ISO certificate (9001-2000).
    In 1967, the Abu Kabir factory was annexed to Qaha Company and is located in the city of Abu Kabir in Sharkia Governorate.
    In 1973, the Al-Qurain Factory was annexed to Qaha Company, which is located in the city of Al-Qurain in the Sharkia Governorate. It produces natural and artificial sherbet products and dries dates and grapes to produce ajwa and raisins.
    Due to the success achieved by the company and the practical experience it has gained in the field of canning and preserving food products, its production has become in demand all over the world.
    It is worth noting that Qaha Company had an important and major role in providing preserved food to the armed forces during the War of Attrition and the October War, the glorious Ramadan.
    In 1991, the company became subject to the provisions of the Business Sector Law No. 203 of 1991. The company’s bylaws were published in the Egyptian Gazette, Issue No. 78 of 1993, and the company’s name was changed to (Qaha Preserved Foods Company).

    Second: Advena Company:
    The company was established in May 1956 with a 100% Egyptian capital of 76.8 million Egyptian pounds.
    The company works in the field of manufacturing and freezing vegetables, fruits and fish. The company has established a group of specialized factories using the latest technical systems and technology to keep pace with global developments in the field of (manufacturing and preserving juices – nectars – jams – drinks – tomato products of all kinds – canned vegetables and legumes – canned fish).
    The company also owns a factory for freezing vegetables with the latest international systems and a factory for producing tin containers and their covers of all kinds according to international specifications and with advanced European technology.
    The construction of the Damietta factory began on October 10, 1958, on an area of 7,500 square meters
